Hundreds of Boeing planes in the sky are at risk of explosion! At least 300 of the 777 series of the global aircraft giant Boeing are at risk of exploding in mid-air due to a mechanical fault. The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the air service regulatory agency of the United States central government, announced this information in a statement on Thursday (May 23). All of the 300 planes identified by the FAA as defective are engaged in domestic passenger service in the United States.

 Foreign countries that have various Boeing 777 series aircraft are not included in this. However, the FAA said that 777 series aircraft outside the United States are not out of danger. The FAA said the 777 series 77-200, 200LR, 777-300, and 300ER and 777F subseries aircraft are most at risk of accidents. Four of the 16 aircraft owned by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the state-owned airline of Bangladesh, are of the Boeing 777-300 series. Basically, the Boeing 777 series aircrafts are at such a great risk due to a small mechanical error. According to the FAA, the technology or ignition source used to keep the fuel tank of the faulty aircraft cool and safe is weak. 

As a result, if the engine is hot, it will affect the fuel tank and because of that, the aircraft will be at risk of explosion while flying in the sky.

আকাশে বোয়িংয়ের শত শত বিমান বিস্ফোরণের ঝুঁকিতে!

যান্ত্রিক ত্রুটির কারণে উড়োজাহাজ প্রস্তুতকারী বৈশ্বিক জায়ান্ট বোয়িংয়ের ৭৭৭ সিরিজের অন্তত ৩০০টি বিমান উড্ডয়নরত অবস্থায় মাঝ আকাশে বিস্ফোরণের ঝুঁকিতে রয়েছে। যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের বিমান পরিষেবা বিষয়ক নিয়ন্ত্রক সংস্থা ইউএস ফেডারেল এভিয়েশন অ্যাডমিনিস্ট্রেশন (এফএএ) বৃহস্পতিবার (২৩ মে) এক বিবৃতিতে জানিয়েছে এ তথ্য।

যে ৩০০ উড়োজাহাজকে ত্রুটিযুক্ত বলে চিহ্নিত করেছে এফএএ, সেগুলোর সবই যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের অভ্যন্তরীণ যাত্রী পরিষেবার কাজে নিয়োজিত। বাইরের যেসব দেশে বোয়িং ৭৭৭ সিরিজের বিভিন্ন বিমান রয়েছে, সেগুলোকে এর মধ্যে ধরা হয়নি। তবে এফএএ জানিয়েছে, যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের বাইরে থাকা ৭৭৭ সিরিজের উড়োজাহাজগুলোও এই আশঙ্কা বা ঝুঁকির বাইরে নয়।

৭৭৭ সিরিজের ৭৭-২০০, ২০০ এলআর, ৭৭৭-৩০০, এবং ৩০০ইআর এবং ৭৭৭এফ উপসিরিজের বিমানগুলোতে দুর্ঘটনা ঘটার আশঙ্কা সবচেয়ে বেশি বলে জানিয়েছে এফএএ।

বাংলাদেশের সরকারি উড়োজাহাজ পরিষেবা সংস্থা বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্সের নিজস্ব ১৬টি বিমানের মধ্যে চারটি বোয়িং ৭৭৭-৩০০ সিরিজের।

মূলত ছোটো একটি যান্ত্রিক ত্রুটির কারণে এত বড় ঝুঁকিতে পড়েছে বোয়িং ৭৭৭ সিরিজের উড়োজাহাজগুলো। এফএএ’র তথ্য অনুসারে, ত্রুটিযুক্ত উড়োজাহাজের ফুয়েলট্যাংক শীতল ও ঝুঁকিমুক্ত রাখতে জন্য যে প্রযুক্তি বা ইগনেশন সোর্স ব্যবহার করা হয়, সেটি দুর্বল। ফলে ইঞ্জিন গরম হতে থাকলে তা ফুয়েলট্যাংকে প্রভাব ফেলবে এবং তার জেরেই আকাশে উড্ডয়নরত অবস্থায় বিস্ফোরণের ঝুঁকিতে পড়বে উড়োজাহাজগুলো ।
